Sunday Mornings During Covid

What to Expect on Sunday Morning – (Updated June 18, 2021)

We are asking anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19 or meets these other criteria to stay home and participate via the service livestream:

  • Fever, respiratory symptoms, or flu-like symptoms
  • Has come into contact with someone having Covid-19 in the last 14 days
  • Traveled outside of the country in the last 14 days

Starting June 20th, mask wearing during the service has been optional. Anyone desiring to wear masks during the service is encouraged to do so, and masks continue to be available at the door.  We still ask those with Covid symptoms to remain home. Please note that officers continue to wear masks during distribution of Communion.

The normal entrance on the west side of the building will be entrance-only. Everyone will be asked to exit via the north door in the sanctuary.

Hand sanitizer will be available for people to utilize upon entering and exiting the building.

Chair rows have been moved apart for physical distancing. Six feet (4 seats) should be kept between each family group.

Congregants are encouraged to enter, proceed towards the front and then move toward the outside of the row, so as to make best use of the seats available.

The service will be broadcast in the fellowship area where there will be additional seats.

Hymnals and pew Bibles have been returned to the pews. Please feel free to use these, but song lyrics will be in the bulletin and congregants can continue to bring their own bibles.

We are unable to provide nursery at this time.

Deacons will walk through aisles to collect offerings. Additionally, offerings may be placed in the box on the way into the service, or into the basket on the way out.

There will be coffee after the service for fellowship.
